Consider the vulnerability of training by yourself with no identification. We don't think twice about wearing a seat belt, a cycling helmet or hi-vis jacket, yet we repeatedly venture outdoors with no identification. Imagine paramedics not knowing who to contact simply because we did not have ID. In the event of an emergency, minutes matter and we want to receive proper medical treatment. Our revolutionary ICE tags enable users to register their details online, which are then held securely online. The tag is small and is attached unobtrusively onto the zip of any jacket. Should any incident occur, and the person is unconscious, the medical response personnel are trained to look for ICE tags. They can then easily scan the QR code on the tag with any smartphone to access any details which the person has deemed fit to put online, such as next of kin contact details, medical history or other medical conditions.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Attach To Your Zipper
Just simply unpack it and attach onto the zip of your jacket.
The tags themselves are small, inexpensive and can be attached to your keys, clothing or even shoelaces.
2. Register Online
You’ll need an account before you can enter your Emergency Contact Record details. It only takes a couple of minutes.
Workers can choose to add any information they like, including next of kin, contact details, medical history and any allergies or medications they are taking.
3. Unique Alphanumeric & QR Code
Each tag features a unique QR code and matching alphanumeric code.
If a smartphone doesn’t have a QR reader, first responders can visit the ICE website and can enter the tag’s unique code to access the yours Emergency Contact Record.
4. How it works
If the worst happens and you are involved in an accident, first responders, who are trained to look for In Case of Emergency tags, can scan your QR code using a smartphone to access your Emergency Contact Record.
